Smiths Direct approach Uttr as they were looking at achieve revenue growth in a relatively untapped market for the butchers.
Already experiencing success supplying to trade, Smiths were looking to tap into the lucrative retail market, something they had explored tentatively in the past, with limited results. The objective was to drive new sales whilst maintaining a high ROAS, as profitability was key.
Timing was of the essence, we needed to launch quickly. We choose to launch with a Facebook marketing campaign, to drive awareness and conversions across the central belt of Scotland. This would allow Smiths to adapt to the change in internal processes and implement the changes required to deal with the increased volumes. Within 4 weeks we increased the footprint of this campaign to the whole of the UK.
